These HEAVY DUTY clinch studs have a larger diameter thicker head which remains partly protruding after installation. This provides greater torque-out and pull-through performance than the standard flush head clinch studs and can be installed into sheets as thin as 1.0mm. The C-HFE studs are made from hardened steel zinc plated and are suitable for press installation into material of up to 80HRB hardness.
The stud length stated is ‘installed length’ which is from the outer head side of the panel to the end of the stud, protruding part of the head is not included.
