Clinch pilot pins have a chamfered end to assist in alignment of the mating part. After installation the head is flush and captivated providing a smooth pin for location or attachment.
These pins are made from 303 series stainless steel are suitable for use in materials of up to 70 HRB hardness. The pin length stated is overall length and includes the head.
