These aluminium clinch nuts provide METRIC threads in thin metal materials of up to 50HRB hardness. For best performance we recommend using the highest shank code that is suitable for the parent material thickness.
It should be noted that the hole sizes required for aluminium clinch nuts differ to the steel and stainless clinch nuts. Clinch nuts are installed into a pre-drilled or punched hole using a parallel squeezing force.
