These floating clinch nuts have the same features as regular clinch nuts with the additional benefits of accommodating up to 0.8mm ‘off-centre’ screw alignment and a self-locking thread to help prevent the assembled screw coming loose with vibration.
This METRIC range are made of hardened steel zinc plated and are suitable for installation in material of up to HRB70 hardness. Install using a press with a hollow punch to apply pressure on the outer flat ring of the body only.
